Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 July 2026. This policy explains what Asset Track PRO collects and why, for both the website and the mobile app.

Who we are

Asset Track PRO (“we”, “us”) provides asset tracking software for businesses, including a manager website and a mobile scanning app. Contact: info@assettrackpro.co.uk.

What we collect

  • Account details — name, email address, and password (passwords are handled by our auth provider and are not stored in plain text).
  • Workspace data — company/workspace name, team memberships, invites, locations, assets, photos you attach, and movement/check-in history.
  • Billing data — subscription plan and status. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Device permissions — the app may use the camera (to scan codes / take photos) and photo library (to attach images) when you grant access.
  • Technical logs — basic app/website diagnostics needed to keep the service secure and reliable.

How we use data

  • To provide and operate the Asset Track PRO service
  • To authenticate users and manage team access
  • To process subscriptions and free trials
  • To send transactional emails (invites, account notices)
  • To improve reliability and prevent abuse

We do not sell personal data.

Who we share data with

We use trusted processors to run the product, including Supabase (database/auth), Stripe (billing), email delivery for invites, and hosting providers for the website and app updates. They process data only to provide their services to us.

Data retention

We keep account and workspace data while your account is active. If you cancel or ask us to delete your account, we remove or anonymise personal data unless we must keep limited records for legal, security, or billing reasons.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data. Contact info@assettrackpro.co.uk and we will help.

Children

Asset Track PRO is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
